Part of the service you receive as a WASHTECH customer is regular visits from a knowledgeable experienced solutions representative.  This local industry expert will verify solution set-ups and usage’s and suggest potential adjustments to make sure you are receiving the maximum efficiency and cleaning effectiveness from your solutions.

As technologically advanced as the wash equipment and the solutions may be, some of the simplest items can still cause the system to malfunction.  A clogged or malfunctioning foot valve, injector or nozzle, or even a leaking hose/plumbing connection can easily defeat the most sophisticated wash system, causing your dilutions to change and improper amounts of solutions to be applied to the vehicles.  Our representatives will catch these items in their regular visits, and also work to educate you on basic solutions troubleshooting so that you can help yourself in the interim period between visits.

Water quality is also a critical factor in the touchless cleaning process.  Both water hardness and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) will impact the effectiveness of your equipment and solutions.  Frequent checks as to the hardness and TDS of the water are necessary.  A water hardness of over 3 grains will have a detrimental effect on the cleaning ability of your car wash, and your solutions rep can easily show you how to monitor and rectify this variable.

Another important factor is water temperature in relation to cleaners.  The ideal temperature of the water and solution mixture as it goes onto the vehicle is in the 110-120º F. range.  A simple temperature check of the solutions as they come out of the arch can verify if you are within this range.  Adjustments to the water temperature should be made seasonally to stay within the ideal range.
